Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Denny Dempsey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Seosamh McLiam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Villa went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21st play minutes Edmundo Espiga shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Seosamh McLiam and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rollan John didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Rollan John made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Bryan McSteve struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zawisza Bydgoszcz. Seosamh McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Seosamh McLiam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seosamh McLiam was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Seosamh McLiam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seosamh McLiam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Seosamh McLiam to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Seosamh McLiam. The goal made the score 0-4. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Seosamh McLiam made a huge save. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Seosamh McLiam made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, Rollan John threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 80th minute, Honduras's Sebastian Villa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seosamh McLiam. Seosamh McLiam yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Honduras's Sebastian Villa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Seosamh McLiam to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rollan John, made in the 88th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Seosamh McLiam successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Brannan Myler made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Art Savic however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 97th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Seosamh McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
