Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xu Wei Mo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Xu Wei Mo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Spase Kastrati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sultan-Mehmet Khan. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Spase Kastrati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Mina to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spase Kastrati having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play forced ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goalkeeper Spase Kastrati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Meng Yao Ao, made in the 29th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Jiang Nan Song hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spase Kastrati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Peru's Moises Gayoso suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 35 played minutes ✩ Pep Team ✩ got a freekick which was hit by Meng Yao Ao. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franck Gamel in the 36th minute of play. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Meng Yao Ao made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Franck Gamel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xu Wei Mo was slow to take the kick. During this time ✩ Pep Team ✩'s players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 44th minute of play forced ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goalkeeper Spase Kastrati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sultan-Mehmet Khan to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franck Gamel in the 52nd minute of play. Spase Kastrati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of the match. Spase Kastrati made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Luz Tejedor sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Spase Kastrati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sultan-Mehmet Khan took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Spase Kastrati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save ✩ Pep Team ✩ from getting a goal against them. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Spase Kastrati made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spase Kastrati was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spase Kastrati was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Spase Kastrati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spase Kastrati made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target.
