Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstanty Dzierwa in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Zakariás Tótfalusi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szentgotthárd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Szentgotthárd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Papp to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and József Sallói capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. József Sallói really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling József Sallói in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Konstanty Dzierwa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 5-0. The supporters of Szentgotthárd booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as József Sallói kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 6-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Bálint Benedek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 7-0. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zakariás Tótfalusi in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when József Sallói came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kornél Hajdú showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zakariás Tótfalusi in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, József Sallói notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when József Sallói came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Szentgotthárd's Károly Selymes made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, József Sallói put it in 13-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Zakariás Tótfalusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Zakariás Tótfalusi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from József Sallói went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Dzierwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Dzierwa in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Szentgotthárd were the better team. Szentgotthárd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
