Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wit Zapolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Justin Groth in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Zapolski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Πυργετός Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anthimos Kousouridis in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Anthimos Kousouridis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wit Zapolski in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wit Zapolski struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Πυργετός Fc.

After a defensive mix-up in Πυργετός Fc's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zisis Vourlis came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Πυργετός Fc's Wit Zapolski. But to his dismay, Wit Zapolski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 75th minute of the match Πυργετός Fc got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anthimos Kousouridis ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Wit Zapolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute Wit Zapolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wit Zapolski scored 6-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zisis Vourlis having to interfere. The supporters of Πυργετός Fc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
