The audience was convinced that Andrézinho das Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Andrézinho das Neves sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After a defensive mix-up in Esperança FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Saldanha came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrézinho das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Esperança FC's goalkeeper Fabiano Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Fabiano Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Kauan Palmeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Esperança FC's Kauan Palmeira. But to his dismay, Kauan Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esperança FC:s goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Esperança FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esperança FC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho das Neves came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrézinho das Neves scored 0-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After 65 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adilson de Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. Kauan Palmeira let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 66th minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Kauan Palmeira came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 68 minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Kauan Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauan Palmeira. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Andrézinho das Neves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrézinho das Neves really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. In the 85th minute, Esperança FC's Andrézinho das Neves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Kauan Palmeira put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Esperança FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
