Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kisgyőr.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Csanád Tímár didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced Kisgyőr.F.C.'s goalkeeper István Gerencsér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Elemér Sárosi could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. András Nemes was slow to take the kick. During this time Kisgyőr.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Kisgyőr.F.C.'s Csanád Tímár got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. István Gerencsér breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 25th minute of play forced Kisgyőr.F.C.'s goalkeeper István Gerencsér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. István Gerencsér didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. István Gerencsér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but István Gerencsér read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Kisgyőr.F.C. were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. András Nemes took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell János Udvarhelyi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Kisgyőr.F.C.'s István Gerencsér got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. István Gerencsér made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 55th minute. Elemér Sárosi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kisgyőr.F.C.'s István Gerencsér proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Kisgyőr.F.C. from getting a goal against them. István Gerencsér was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-4. István Gerencsér made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Kisgyőr.F.C.'s András Nemes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but István Gerencsér read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Valentin Jósa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kisgyőr.F.C. and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. János Udvarhelyi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated István Gerencsér. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kisgyőr.F.C..
