Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Theodosis Kassapis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Barberopoulos in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Apostolos Mavrokordatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Apostolos Mavrokordatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 35th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Green Horses's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olof Dalström in the 37th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Bruno Beldad put in a rough tackle. Olof Dalström shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theodosis Kassapis. Theodosis Kassapis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Apostolos Mavrokordatos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Farmakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodosis Kassapis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolos Mavrokordatos came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theodosis Kassapis was a little too slow when Alberto Gisbert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. Maximiliano Escribano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Theodosis Kassapis firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Theodosis Kassapis in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Green Horses's Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Theodosis Kassapis in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Horses's Apostolos Mavrokordatos. But to his dismay, Apostolos Mavrokordatos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 79th minute of play. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Apostolos Mavrokordatos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Maximiliano Escribano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Francisco Seco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 90th playminute. The Uruguay supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uruguay would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
