Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Scofield Vinciguerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Fu Hai Yuan put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The crowd rose to their feet as Fu Hai Yuan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scofield Vinciguerra in the 18th minute of the match. When Scofield Vinciguerra came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Acilia Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scofield Vinciguerra couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Hai Yuan in the 21st minute of play. Acilia Town were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Tozzi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Diego Tozzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 27th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Moscatelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ciro Moscatelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fu Hai Yuan in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acilia Town made a substitution. Dieguinho Tande replaced Fu Hai Yuan. After 48 played minutes Acilia Town got a freekick which was hit by Scofield Vinciguerra. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dieguinho Tande to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Tande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Franco Ucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dieguinho Tande hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Acilia Town made a substitution. Alvaro Recoba replaced Diego Tozzi. In the 65th minute Acilia Town were awarded a corner. Ovidiu Ciulei went to the cornerflag to take it. Fidel Illan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dieguinho Tande's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Alvaro Recoba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ciro Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Tande came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 90th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scofield Vinciguerra in the 95th minute of the match. Scofield Vinciguerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Acilia Town.
