Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Larra Briz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 30 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larra Briz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 33rd minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Larra Briz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Larra Briz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elivareo Monta was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jaime Cazalla made a great header on Uruguay's corner, it was just that C.S.D Punta Ballena's Larra Briz managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.D Punta Ballena's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
