Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) MDQ Raptors FC's Daniel Järvenperä started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Elodio made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Teofilo Adrio. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Ernesto Elodio made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Francesco. MDQ Raptors FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cosme Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Cosme Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes MDQ Raptors FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Julian Murillo sped through MDQ Raptors FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cosme Francesco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Cosme Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Adrio. Cosme Francesco came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 32nd minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Cosme Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Francesco. MDQ Raptors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 52 minutes of play, MDQ Raptors FC's Teofilo Adrio made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosme Francesco made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Francesco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Francesco was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Francesco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Järvenperä in the 72nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Cosme Francesco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cosme Francesco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 80 minute of play. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Cosme Francesco was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-6. 92 minutes into the game, Ernesto Elodio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
