Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 3rd minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregório Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Feng Cheng Ling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregório Neiva got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Eriberto Bonadona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Axel Montenegro spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mira United FC's goal. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Gregório Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Gregório Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play. Feng Cheng Ling hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play forced Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Orlando Tafalla in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mira United FC's Rodolfo Pires. The throw-in from Nel Ybarbo in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. In the 44th match minute, Mira United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Henric to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregório Neiva to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Bonadona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Santino Seco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eriberto Bonadona. Santino Seco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Bonadona having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feng Cheng Ling in the 77th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mira United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feng Cheng Ling in the 78th minute. The corner led to Mira United FC's Ademar Ramires getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 79th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Mastache to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 82nd minute of play forced Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Gregório Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mira United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
