Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sven-Arne Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund got control of the ball when Mateo Leguizamo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moises Fernandino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Sven-Arne Eklund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Arne Eklund. Sven-Arne Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Alex Forsell got a free kick in the 15th minute. Moises Fernandino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven-Arne Eklund firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sven-Arne Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Fernandino in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. El Salvador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mateo Leguizamo in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes Bennis got a freekick which was hit by Henric Vallman. Sven-Arne Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 32nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Albin Lenberg put in a rough tackle. 38 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Arne Eklund, 4-0. A sloppy throw-in by Valentino Ferrant in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bennis's Arne Ahlqvist. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Arne Eklund. Sven-Arne Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. When Mateo Leguizamo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Leguizamo couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 73rd minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Arne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Alex Forsell got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bennis's zone, Jorge Magrina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Eklund came out of the goal and Jorge Magrina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henric Vallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. El Salvador's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
