The corner ended in Kaarlo Menem almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett did a great save. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kaarlo Menem sped through Curacao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 13thth minute of the game Martin Goren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Goren in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Falconara Albanese booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Goren in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Kaarlo Menem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaarlo Menem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8.
