Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Paulo Eguen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Paulo Eguen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulo Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 9 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Eguen scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Paulo Eguen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Eguen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Paulo Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Joel Gaona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 29 minutes into the match, Paulo Eguen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Mambru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melquiades Mambru, 1-3. In the 39th match minute, MORPH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. MORPH's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ambrosio Estevez in the 48th minute. In the 49th minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Paulo Eguen made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Melquiades Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of play. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Paulo Eguen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-5. MORPH made a substitution. Carel Rokeloos replaced Paulo Eguen. MORPH's Isidro Lano was substituted for Delmar Udalaitz. After a defensive mix-up in MORPH's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Lano in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Lu Zhi Lin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Lano in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Lluques kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
