Celso Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Cruz in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. After 21 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filomeno Kauldi who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Cordaro Domenech advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 21st minute. A collision led to Urko FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Igor Baudelio hit a great ball. Urko FC's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Torrico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Urko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Urko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Volkertsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastián Torrico was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastián Torrico was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 44th minute of the match. Celso Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cordaro Domenech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 55th minute of play forced Urko FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes, Cordaro Domenech mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urko FC and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cordaro Domenech kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Urko FC's Aquiles Arnas was substituted for Cordaro Domenech. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Denis Alonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sebastián Torrico made a huge save. A collision led to Urko FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Binjamin Van Campenhout hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Urko FC's Denis Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Sebastián Torrico made a huge save. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Sebastián Torrico made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's Binjamin Van Campenhout got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Urko FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
