In the 25th minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Måns Skräddare was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Andréas Hääger hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Måns Skräddare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Moodys IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Holger Apelqvist hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Måns Skräddare was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Eliseo Noboa took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Måns Skräddare. Måns Skräddare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Måns Skräddare came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. Axel Tasis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 54th playminute. 57 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Måns Skräddare. Eliseo Noboa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. With his leg Måns Skräddare managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goalkeeper Måns Skräddare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. In the 78th minute Andréas Hääger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moodys IF's Måns Skräddare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Måns Skräddare was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Efrain Moruga made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Moodys IF's Henry Hägert. In the 91st minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Måns Skräddare in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Costa Rica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Moodys IF throughout the match.
