Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tião Donatello to make the kick off. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogerio Fontarigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes of play, Flinston FC - DMZ's Tomas Herruz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flinston FC - DMZ's Rogerio Fontarigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Flinston FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffroy Derveaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flinston FC - DMZ.
