Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jacek Matuch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Roberto Carlos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Efraim Gilabert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 15th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurek Ohrem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Loi. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Matuch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacek Matuch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 41 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Silvestre Loi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Loi to make the kick off. Jacek Matuch made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 53rd minute of play. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Matuch having to interfere. Roberto Carlos got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Takeshi Bieberstein. Jurek Ohrem charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurek Ohrem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Peru's Jacek Matuch threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 75 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Matuch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacek Matuch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With an all-out effort, Peru's Jacek Matuch threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 81st minute of play. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Eliseo Mina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacek Matuch quite easily take care of the ball. Jacek Matuch didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2.
