Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Büssinger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Freestylers's Yuan Lei Jing. Yuan Lei Jing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Evarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Leo Pietro sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Freestylers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
