Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Irinel Vărzaru having to make a save. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Vărzaru having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Angelino Miro sent off a good shot on target. Felix Naranjo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The supporters of Coslada Juniors booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coslada Juniors's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irinel Vărzaru came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Felix Naranjo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Felix Naranjo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Naranjo made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelino Miro went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Irinel Vărzaru made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Coslada Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Irinel Vărzaru quite easily take care of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Coslada Juniors's Irinel Vărzaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Coslada Juniors from getting a goal against them. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Irinel Vărzaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Coslada Juniors booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Coslada Juniors support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
