Wachirapong Wattanachinda made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Orlando Casaus at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Clube do Remo MZ. 2-0. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube do Remo MZ's goalie prevented a goal. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 41st minute, one of Chile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chile. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baal Grunberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Clube do Remo MZ's Baal Grunberg got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baal Grunberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Sandoval in the 60th minute of play. Tiaguinho Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dagoberto Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kang Cheng Ao hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Wachirapong Wattanachinda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Fontirroig in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Chile's Xavier Figueroa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Guillermo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Sandoval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Mandrak in the 84th minute of the match. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kang Cheng Ao kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Orlando Casaus struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Wachirapong Wattanachinda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Baal Grunberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
