Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Mroczynski in the 28th minute of play. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Modliszewski in the 32nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Franciszek Modliszewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Chile's Felix Garrido got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Brow Team's Norbert Kostrzewa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Norbert Kostrzewa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brow Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Norbert Kostrzewa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 46 minutes into the game, one of Brow Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Brow Team:s Igor Siekierski showed great skill when he stopped Mariano Lacasa:s penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czeslaw Tipinski was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
