Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the match, Frösö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Richard Mikaelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Michael Segarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Richard Mikaelsson. Frösö IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Richard Mikaelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Segarra in the 34th minute of the match. Frösö IF's Richard Mikaelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Cauteruccio was slow to take the kick. During this time Frösö IF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Martin Cauteruccio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Mikaelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Uggstedt in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Martin Cauteruccio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Lidman in the 62nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Richard Mikaelsson however easily saved by the left post. Richard Mikaelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Mikaelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Tytus Wodaszak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Uggstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
