Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juan-Ramón Verón made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Berserkers FC Ψ's Marcos Burni. Marcos Burni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Berserkers FC Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes, Berserkers FC Ψ's Melchor Garoa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Berserkers FC Ψ reached it. In the 7thth minute of the game Olliver Van Meirhaeghe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan-Ramón Verón went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Ramón Verón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. The Berserkers FC Ψ fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan-Ramón Verón took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Hektor Liberoyiannis scored 1-6 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Juan-Ramón Verón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe in the 41st minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Berserkers FC Ψ got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan-Ramón Verón ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Alan Moruga off the ground. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The supporters of Berserkers FC Ψ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan-Ramón Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Melchor Garoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Melchor Garoa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melchor Garoa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Hektor Liberoyiannis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Radowit Furlit sent off a good shot on target. Berserkers FC Ψ's Melchor Garoa suffered a sprained foot after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Axel Tasis charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Tasis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Juan-Ramón Verón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Juan-Ramón Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Furlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli was substituted for Juan-Ramón Verón. After a rather tough play, Berserkers FC Ψ's Hektor Liberoyiannis got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 77th minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcos Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli. But to his dismay, Juan Ignacio Circelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Juan Ignacio Circelli had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-10 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Juan Ignacio Circelli sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Berserkers FC Ψ's Radowit Furlit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Berserkers FC Ψ's Radowit Furlit slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-12 after 92 minutes of play. When the match was over Berserkers FC Ψ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
