Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Davide Bertolini took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Nedo Nadi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After 5 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the San Nicolò Kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Catucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 12 minutes into the game, San Nicolò Kings's Davide Bertolini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Nedo Nadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Nedo Nadi came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 19 minute. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Catucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. San Nicolò Kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Bertolini came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nedo Nadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as San Nicolò Kings's Nedo Nadi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-1 after 38 minutes of play. In the 40th match minute, San Nicolò Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Trevisani to maneuver through the defense. If Nedo Nadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedo Nadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Davide Bertolini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corrado Trevisani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedo Nadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Armando Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, San Nicolò Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Kåmark to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 62nd minute. San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano threw the ball into play from the sideline. San Nicolò Kings's Corrado Trevisani quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 67th minute, Davide Bertolini made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 70 minutes into the match, Nedo Nadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nedo Nadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedo Nadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedo Nadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Tagliente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Nicolò Kings made a substitution. April Kul replaced Davide Bertolini. With a little luck, San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by April Kul in the 83rd minute of play. After 89 minutes, Nedo Nadi made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Catucci having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Nicolò Kings fully deserved thier win.
