Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) USA's Cassius Byrne started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Alfonsi in the 2nd minute of play. With a little luck, FV Wienerwald's Marcel Mallinger got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Mallinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when Anfilogino Alfonsi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Alfonsi in the 10th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Marcel Mallinger made a huge save. If Anfilogino Alfonsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Alfonsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a little luck, FV Wienerwald's Marcel Mallinger got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 39th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Brown to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's Ralf Szüczs broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 46th minute, USA's Edward Mcdonald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcel Mallinger. Marcel Mallinger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anfilogino Alfonsi was the one to do the kick off. FV Wienerwald's Felix Hanschirik got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Mallinger having to interfere. Monty Rogers scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Mallinger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Felix Hanschirik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Sascha Pichorner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jenson Smith took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Mallinger. Marcel Mallinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 86th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Marcel Mallinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Marcel Mallinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Szüczs in the 91st minute of the match. Sam Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
