The supporters of ... booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Selim Zor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 19 played minutes ... got a freekick which was hit by Robert Babicki. But to his dismay, Erdeniz Bekiroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Frank Frisck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jiang Cheng during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Jiang Cheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Jiang Cheng with Erdeniz Bekiroğlu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Alim Erem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After 52 minutes of play, ...'s Frank Frisck made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Erdeniz Bekiroğlu who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Jonathan Ferrant's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Erdeniz Bekiroğlu was beeing forced to shoot. ... were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erdeniz Bekiroğlu took the corner. After taking down the ball on ...'s corner Erdeniz Bekiroğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdeniz Bekiroğlu in the 59th minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Frisck in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Frisck in the 66th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Frisck in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by ...'s Frank Frisck. But to his dismay, Frank Frisck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 76 minutes, Frank Frisck made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ...'s Jiang Cheng got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Jiang Cheng off the ground. After 81 played minutes ... got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Cheng. Sergio Ramos got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erdeniz Bekiroğlu. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Frisck, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Frank Frisck sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Batur Canel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Patricio Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sarper Kürşat. That made the score 7-1 after 94 minutes of play.
