Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Piara Gerli kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Aquiles Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Piara Gerli lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after VAMO ARRIBA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Gerli in the 15th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Demesio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to VAMO ARRIBA getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Leonides Vela hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Egoitz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Rene Egoitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rene Egoitz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Demesio in the 52nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Gerli in the 54th minute of play. When VAMO ARRIBA's Piara Gerli in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when VAMO ARRIBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the VAMO ARRIBA defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Ellande. The VAMO ARRIBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Ellande should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Piara Gerli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alonzo Gartxot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Ellande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. With a little luck, VAMO ARRIBA's Aquiles Ellande got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by VAMO ARRIBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aquiles Ellande in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piara Gerli's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but VAMO ARRIBA were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
