Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zé Paulo Luz made the kick off which started today's match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 3rdth minute of the game Zé Paulo Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Zé Paulo Luz came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. Felix Donciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fu Ting Nan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Donciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 29th minute. The long shot by Joélson Amaral in the 29th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 31st minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes, Werneck FC - DMZ's Joélson Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Werneck FC - DMZ reached it. After 35 minutes Werneck FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Joélson Amaral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joélson Amaral really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Werneck FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Donciu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Werneck FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Felix Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Felix Donciu, making the score, 2-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Werneck FC - DMZ's Laerte Porto was substituted for Basílio Baiano. Felix Donciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 67th minute of the match. Juan Sebastián Puig succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 67th playminute. Felix Donciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Werneck FC - DMZ's Joélson Amaral. But to his dismay, Joélson Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joélson Amaral in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Zé Paulo Luz scored 4-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Felix Donciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Werneck FC - DMZ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
