Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mithat Adıvar in the 20th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Cibran in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Pasterski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvano Cibran to strike the kick off in the second half. Boguslaw Jaraczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boguslaw Jaraczewski. Zapniów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 58th minute Stefan Gerlach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mithat Adıvar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-1 in the 62 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Gerlach came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Kajetan Pasterski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Cibran, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Boguslaw Jaraczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ignacy Zakrzewski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Joel Gaona, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
