The wind increased when Osvald Kadajas made the kick off in the second half. Ignacy Hajduk came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cin-Cin Marger la birra made a substitution. 姚青剑 replaced Witalis Duszenski. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacy Hajduk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Kadajas in the 70th minute of play. Ignacy Hajduk made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Cin-Cin Marger la birra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner.
