The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karol Ochylski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karol Ochylski. Karol Ochylski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Burak Akersoy hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Oceania Rumia's Arkadiusz Liberko got a free kick in the 76th minute. The referee gave Lech Tamulewicz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Cristian Sancho. Lech Tamulewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
