The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Cristóvão Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Błαck Bułłs MZ and the ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ defense, Sílvio Luiz de Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Witalis Obuchowicz. The ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Witalis Obuchowicz should have stopped the shot. Witalis Obuchowicz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Adrianinho Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Witalis Obuchowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Bielejewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Witalis Obuchowicz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Agnaldo Vinhas. The supporters of Błαck Bułłs MZ booed when ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Nocny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Agnaldo Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 minutes, Gualter Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Błαck Bułłs MZ and the ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Błαck Bułłs MZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gualter Leal hit a great ball. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Filip Indyk was substituted for Leonard Bielejewski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s Witalis Obuchowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Zanette in the 80th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Błαck Bułłs MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Puyol to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Mariusz Kajdasz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Pereira skillfully saved the ball. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

Augusto Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Indyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 103rd minute, Mariusz Kajdasz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
