VfL Bad Nenndorf's Addi Kremer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vismantas Jaugėla in the 9th minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Sascha Nelsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sascha Nelsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaldas Grikšas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Skirmantas Skrebys got a free kick in the 44th minute. Edgar Abegg, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikolaus Worm made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Hasenjäger in the 51st minute of play forced Absoliut's goalkeeper Evaldas Grikšas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Absoliut's Evaldas Grikšas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Absoliut from getting a goal against them. Evaldas Grikšas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sascha Nelsen in the 53rd minute. Gražvydas Vaitiekus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Evaldas Grikšas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Bad Nenndorf. Addi Kremer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigitas Barasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vismantas Jaugėla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikolaus Worm in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaldas Grikšas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Absoliut's Gražvydas Vaitiekus that got to make the kick off. In the 99th minute, Nikolaus Worm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VfL Bad Nenndorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Although Absoliut had been in control for most of the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf still came away with the win.
