After a rather tough play, Aversa's Dino Saraceni got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Gaudencio Milio scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Bassani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Francesco Gallucci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alonzo Baristo. Francesco Gallucci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 11 minutes into the game, Aversa's Damiano De Zorzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonzo Baristo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Alonzo Baristo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano De Zorzi in the 21st minute of the match. Alonzo Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Carrea in the 24th minute of play. KYRA FC's Santo Nuñez managed to work through Aversa's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Santo Nuñez dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Aversa getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dino Saraceni hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Aversa's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Nuñez came free, but Dave Bassani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

KYRA FC's Gilberto Orti was substituted for Marciano Argi. The wind increased when Santo Nuñez made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Aversa's goalkeeper Dave Bassani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Nuñez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Nuñez in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Bassani saved Aversa from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Serafino Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Bassani was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Serafino Chesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dave Bassani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Nuñez in the 66th minute. Dave Bassani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Serafino Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, KYRA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Orti to maneuver through the defense. Arrigo De Simone hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Paulo Emmanuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonzo Baristo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Carrea in the 89th minute of the match. KYRA FC's Alonzo Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Carrea in the 91st minute of play. KYRA FC's Paulo Emmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

KYRA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
