Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramond Enebro in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luís Eduardo Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DENVER™'s protests and gave Luís Eduardo Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Araújo hit a great ball. When Bela Azadon came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Tala Bosques del Jaure fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bela Azadon couldn't finish the play. Guilherme Abud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Cosme Minguez made a huge save. Delfim Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraitz Illera in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iraitz Illera in the 22nd minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gino Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 played minutes Tala Bosques del Jaure got a freekick which was hit by Ramond Enebro. Bela Azadon's late challenge caught a DENVER™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bela Azadon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tala Bosques del Jaure getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bela Azadon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Diguinho Vargas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Delfim Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bela Azadon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Iraitz Illera took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Delfim Bastos to make any attempt to save it. DENVER™'s Márcio Guedes was substituted for Nilton Netto. 65 minutes into the match, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Bela Azadon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Bastos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Delfim Bastos threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ramond Enebro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iraitz Illera. In the 85th minute Ramond Enebro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither DENVER™ or Tala Bosques del Jaure succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

DENVER™ made a substitution. Waldir Romero replaced Guilherme Abud. After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. DENVER™'s Waldir Romero started the play with the initial kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleithon Minuhin in the 101st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Minguez saved Tala Bosques del Jaure from getting behind. Delfim Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramond Enebro, who was totally free with the ball in the 107th minute. The Tala Bosques del Jaure supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tala Bosques del Jaure would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
