After 60 minutes of play, Deportivo Ortegano's Serafino Berria made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seggiano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Deportivo Ortegano a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sotero Besga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Seggiano's Antonio Di Gennaro. 2-1. Camillo Salvagnin's late challenge caught a Deportivo Ortegano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Salvagnin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Camillo Salvagnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Berria in the 100th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Antonio Di Gennaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Ortegano had won after a very even match.
