Zeledon Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matias Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Chico de Brito made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeledon Guillem came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Chico de Brito. But to his dismay, Chico de Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th match minute, Masters United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Eusébio Magalhães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Guillem skillfully saved the ball. If Modesto Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Tarcisio Goiano was substituted for Marco Furtado. In the 62nd minute, Adelino Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Ian Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Guillem. Masters United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Naldo Guedes's late challenge caught a Masters United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
