In the 15th minute, Emanuele Bartolomucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Coutinho came free, but Alessandro Ascenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Palestra14 got a freekick which was hit by Vinnie Jones. 33 minutes into the game, Palestra14's Edoardo Nazzaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmir Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rafa Coutinho hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Andrea Silenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafa Coutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® booed when Palestra14 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinnie Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Botelho. Palestra14's Alessandro Ascenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalkeeper Walmir Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea Silenzi. After a rather tough play, Palestra14's Ciro Gentili got a free kick in the 69th minute. Rafa Coutinho took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Ascenzi. Alessandro Ascenzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Andrea Silenzi struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Walmir Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra14. In the 85th minute, Fausto Fioriti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Rafa Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Ascenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Palestra14 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Fioriti to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Andrea Silenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nildo Cruz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Andrea Silenzis short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Walmir Dias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
