The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Skellerup FC's Kristjan Høgaard got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Ejvin Møllekær had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Couto. Hermínio Medeiros succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. Cléber Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerhart Riising in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Bergø in the 29th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Cléber Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Hermínio Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ejvin Møllekær. The goal made the score 3-0. Skellerup FC's Ejvin Møllekær proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Skellerup FC from getting a goal against them. Skellerup FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Atlético-PR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harald Lundsgaardvig took the corner. The corner ended in Harald Lundsgaardvig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atlético-PR's Cléber Neiva did a great save. After some careless play in the Atlético-PR defense, Kent Helsgaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Neiva. The Atlético-PR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Neiva should have stopped the shot. Cléber Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Ebler, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Belhøj in the 46th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Cléber Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josef Belhøj to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Skellerup FC's Terkild Lunn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cléber Neiva. Cléber Neiva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético-PR's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Belhøj came free, but Cléber Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermínio Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Josef Belhøj fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Atlético-PR's Cléber Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético-PR from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Paulo Couto during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Couto to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Cláudio Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Lundsgaardvig struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cléber Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skellerup FC. Cláudio Baiano's late challenge caught a Skellerup FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. Cláudio Baiano hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Cléber Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Helsgaard in the 78th minute of play. Atlético-PR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Jørgen Ebler scored to the left of an out of position Cléber Neiva, making the score, 3-4. Cléber Neiva was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Kent Helsgaard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kent Helsgaard really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. After 90 played minutes Skellerup FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Bergø.

The Skellerup FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
