The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Jansson got free with Domingos Iaki in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Zero Hedge's Åke Jansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingos Iaki. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Åke Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Iaki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Åke Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingos Iaki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Jansson in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes Abuba Akotonon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dani Python who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Jansson got free with Domingos Iaki in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiktor Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Piarres in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Zero Hedge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Hipolito Piarres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wiktor Wallander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 28 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Melker Törnblom. Zero Hedge's Wiktor Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Merentiel in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Zero Hedge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Bertil Åström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domingos Iaki, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Merentiel was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Åke Jansson made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Iaki. Abuba Akotonon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Zero Hedge's Alexander Johansson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maximo Laurgain, made in the 56th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Zero Hedge's Arman Sjögren got a free kick in the 59th minute. Casimiro Bilbo shot from long distance in the 60th minute, but Wiktor Wallander was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 62nd minute, Åke Jansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingos Iaki was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After having played for 68 minutes, Åke Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zero Hedge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zero Hedge made a substitution. Gabriel Odeen replaced Åke Jansson. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bertil Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zero Hedge's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Iaki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes in the game Jaime Giro did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fulgencio Shepherd. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Odeen in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Iaki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingos Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Jaime Giro got a free kick in the 84th minute. Domingos Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Odeen in the 85th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Gabriel Odeen sped through Abuba Akotonon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingos Iaki. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Zero Hedge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dani Python didn't get a good kick on the ball.

There was no doubt that Zero Hedge were the better team. Zero Hedge's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
