An unexpectedly hard shot by Orelio Picka in the 11th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Orelio Picka got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Virgílio Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the New Loser FC fans jumped to their feet. Barcellos Mineiro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
