In the 18th minute Wilian Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquinhos Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Pernambucano in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Antunes came free, but Enéas Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquinhos Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes 27 de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Pernambucano. In the 28th minute Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner. Jeferson Santana went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jeferson Santana almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 27 de Mayo's Enéas Leme did a great save. 30 minutes into the game, Emanuel Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 27 de Mayo the free kick. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Emanuel Branco hit a great ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauan Amaral was the one to do the kick off. Sérgio Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enéas Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Antunes's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 27 de Mayo:s Enéas Leme showed great skill when he stopped Wilian Antunes:s penalty. In the 57thth minute of the game Hélio Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Marquinhos Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristóvão Prado hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Enéas Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Branco's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Kauan Amaral took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marquinhos Diniz. Marquinhos Diniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wilian Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilian Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Fonseca in the 73rd minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Enéas Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
