The supporters of Brutal DeLuxe booed when Elite Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Brutal DeLuxe got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Molin. Miguel Lesardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olof Helander. Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Cristos in the 14th minute of play forced Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Olof Helander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Elite Azulgrana got a corner. Brutal DeLuxe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Matos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elite Azulgrana's Mauro Matos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olof Helander in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mauro Matos's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Olof Helander - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 16th minute. Rikard Hultin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henrik Tham fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Pastor Sagrario ran back to his position shaking his head. Olof Helander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Cristos in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Sagrario to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Brutal DeLuxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Molin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Elite Azulgrana's Mauro Matos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gilberto Cristos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Helander having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Pastor Sagrario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite Azulgrana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Rikard Hultin came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Brutal DeLuxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Hultin couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brutal DeLuxe's goalkeeper Olof Helander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Brutal DeLuxe's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Cristos came free, but Olof Helander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Olof Helander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Gulliksson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 85th play minutes Pastor Sagrario shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Olof Helander and just under the crossbar into goal. After 88 played minutes Elite Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Sagrario. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Pastor Sagrario put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Olof Helander.

Although Brutal DeLuxe had been in control for most of the match, Elite Azulgrana still came away with the win.
