The crowd rose to their feet as Adilson Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Carballo. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Emanuel Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Galo to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jailson de Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA LUZ F.C.'s Hugo Carballo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Prestes in the 56th minute of play. Jailson de Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Carballo having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho Duarte during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eulalio Veronica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Santo Everton when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
