Spectators: 471 (Terracing: 354, Seating: 108, VIP seats: 9) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Narciso Bueno kicked off to start the match. Guansa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Narciso Bueno scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Sabin, making the score, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Guansa's goalkeeper Aurelio Sabin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Bueno. 2-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Carlos Fernando Freire elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Umberto de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Oto in the 14th minute of the match. Umberto de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Inocente in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Bartolo Oto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scarlet Speedster's Umberto de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Arturo Tono fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guansa's protests and gave Arturo Tono a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Tono. If Carlos Fernando Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scarlet Speedster's Umberto de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Ortle in the 33rd minute of play. Umberto de Salles came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Guansa's Apolo Ortle. But to his dismay, Apolo Ortle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Arturo Tono got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cafu Toledo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-3 to the left of a surprised Aurelio Sabin 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolo Oto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cafu Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Sabin having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Narciso Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Sabin. Guansa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 57th match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Romero to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Cafu Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Sabin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. A collision led to Scarlet Speedster getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kauan Valle hit a great ball. Aurelio Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Cafu Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guansa booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafu Toledo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Aurelio Sabin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scarlet Speedster. After 82 minutes, Claudio Henrico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guansa and the Scarlet Speedster players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Claudio Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Narciso Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Bueno couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Cafu Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Sabin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Scarlet Speedster's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
