JET-M's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. After 6 played minutes JET-M got a freekick which was hit by Nenko Kenov. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Kasper Munkvold replaced Arild Reppen. In the 14th minute, Toma Chavorski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes JET-M got a freekick which was hit by Svetoslav Zarichinov. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind JET-M's goalkeeper Antonio Kashukeev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, JET-M's Antonio Kashukeev got control of the ball when Bastian Ytterstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to JET-M getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vihar Petrushev hit a great ball. Antonio Kashukeev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen. Kenneth Foldnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Antonio Kashukeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Foldnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Brufoss IL fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Brufoss IL's Tor-Egil Arntsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Pavlin Ayanov came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the JET-M fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavlin Ayanov couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavlin Ayanov made a kick off. Olav Øverby acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Toma Chavorski. After a rather tough play, JET-M's Mirolyub Batoev got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Antonio Kashukeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastian Ytterstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Kasper Munkvold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antonio Kashukeev. JET-M's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stian Steen in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Kashukeev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in JET-M's zone, Bastian Ytterstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Kashukeev came out of the goal and Bastian Ytterstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Kashukeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Egil Arntsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when JET-M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toma Chavorski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes, Kasper Munkvold mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the JET-M players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kasper Munkvold hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. JET-M's Vitan Chohadzhiev was substituted for Pantaley Bekyarov. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Leif Mæhlum replaced Preben Halden.
