Dénes Boross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Sabri Carpenter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Paulin in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Martin in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbert Kormos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes, Bernabe Mero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ and the Szombathely Squirrels players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, János Major was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szombathely Squirrels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Major to maneuver through the defense. After 20th play minutes Zsolt Vörös shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sabri Carpenter and just under the crossbar into goal. Sabri Carpenter acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ferenc Jászberényi. Gusztáv Győrffy's late challenge caught a A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gusztáv Győrffy helped the player get up and apologised. Lázaro Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Chris Martin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olivér Cselényi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Zsolt Vörös sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Vörös in the 68th minute of play forced A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s goalkeeper Sabri Carpenter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Braulio Fonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Ferenc Jászberényi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sabri Carpenter skillfully saved the ball. 72 minutes into the match, A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Vörös came free, but Sabri Carpenter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zsolt Vörös came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Szombathely Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsolt Vörös couldn't finish the play. Mihály Földesi took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Carpenter. Sabri Carpenter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szombathely Squirrels fans cheered their team off the field, for while A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
