The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes, Michael Haglund made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Garth Hayes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Charlie Routledge scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lukas Matsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Moyle in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Aaron Flack managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Flack was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Svenne Svensk sped through Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Garth Hayes. 41 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Moyle came free, but Lukas Matsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC NORDLAND's Aron Bållström got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toby Dransfield was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Moyle struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Lukas Matsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lisburn Distillery F.C.. The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. FC NORDLAND's Svenne Svensk started the play with his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basil Larham during the 102nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Toby Dransfield did a quick kick off. David Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 117th minute of the match, but Garth Hayes made a huge save. Mikael Kjellqvist hit a great freekick 119 minutes into the match. With neither of the teams able to find a winning goal, the match would be decided by penalties!

When the match had been going on for 135 minutes, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Garth Hayes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lukas Matsson. The referee gave FC NORDLAND a penalty, 143 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bobbo Boateng, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Garth Hayes. 5-5. In the 145th minute there was a penalty for Lisburn Distillery F.C.. Aaron Flack stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lukas Matsson. 6-5. In the game's 146th minute FC NORDLAND's Wictor Alefors took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Garth Hayes and thus the score was 6-6. The referee gave Lisburn Distillery F.C. a penalty, 148 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Charlie Routledge, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC NORDLAND's Lukas Matsson. 7-6. Lisburn Distillery F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC NORDLAND for a fine match.
