The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Hanson. In the 9th minute, Sancarbey Çakıroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martti Asmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 13th minute, Ivar Meri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sancarbey Çakıroğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Martti Asmer made a huge save. Martti Asmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sancarbey Çakıroğlu's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 17th match minute, JK Kurevere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ago Leks to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Hafız Erdoğdu. Martti Asmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancarbey Çakıroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. JK Kurevere's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sancarbey Çakıroğlu 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Martti Asmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancarbey Çakıroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Sancarbey Çakıroğlu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Martti Asmer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 32 minutes of play, JK Kurevere's Ilmar Kurg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Hakan Topel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of MarineerS FK booed when JK Kurevere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Meri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Hakan Topel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuuno Auru in the 41st minute of play. When JK Kurevere's Kuuno Kadastu in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MarineerS FK's goalie prevented a goal.

The wind increased when Kuuno Kadastu made the kick off in the second half. Halit Fahri Subutay hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilmar Kurg in the 53rd minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Topel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MarineerS FK's Mustafa Hakan Topel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmar Kurg in the 55th minute of play. Kuuno Kadastu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mustafa Hakan Topel came out and tried to block the shot, but Kuuno Kadastu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 62nd minute. JK Kurevere made a substitution. Voldemar Allikmäe replaced Ivar Meri. Martti Asmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancarbey Çakıroğlu in the 77th minute of play. Hüseyin Can Bilgiç kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Mustafa Hakan Topel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilmar Kurg in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, JK Kurevere's Voldemar Allikmäe got a free kick in the 86th minute. Kuuno Kadastu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Menderes Ünaldi in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martti Asmer saved JK Kurevere from getting behind.

The JK Kurevere supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JK Kurevere would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
